The Akhirah Team does not just provide humanitarian aid abroad but also looks after the community in the UK. During the time of Covid many families were suffering financial losses and unable to provide food for their families. There were children in schools who were not having meals at home. We decided to help where we could and launched the food bank distribution centre which helps to provide essential food items to those who are in need. The food bank is an ongoing project which provides anything between 100 to 200 bags weekly to local schools and organisation ensuring that those in need have access to food and are able to feed their families in this challenging.
